Prayagraj, November 17, 2025: The Yadupati Singhania Memorial Squash Open 2025 will be held from November 17 to 20, 2025, at the Amitabh Bachchan Sports Complex, Prayagraj, featuring a remarkable gathering of India’s emerging squash talent.
Tournament has drawn an impressive 219 entries across 11 categories, representing 21 states, underscoring its growing stature as one of the most anticipated events on the Uttar Pradesh Squash calendar.
The national circuit event is under the aegis of Uttar Pradesh Squash Rackets Association, and pays tribute to Late Shri Yadupati Singhania, an industrial visionary and ardent sports enthusiast whose passion for nurturing talent and promoting sports excellence continues to inspire generations.
Speaking about the event, Mr. Madhav Krishna Singhania, President, Uttar Pradesh Squash Rackets Association, said: “The Yadupati Singhania Memorial Squash Open holds a very special place in the Uttar Pradesh Squash calendar. It stands as a tribute to Late Shri Yadupati Singhania’s unwavering commitment to sports development and to creating platforms for young athletes to excel. The record participation from 21 states this year reflects the growing enthusiasm for squash and the event’s significance as a premier tournament in the region.”
Adding to this, Mr. Vinay Pandey, Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Squash Rackets Association (UPSRA), said: “The enthusiasm around the Yadupati Singhania Memorial Squash Open reflect the tremendous momentum squash has gained in Uttar Pradesh. The four-day event will see players compete across junior and senior divisions, culminating in the finals on November 20, 2025. The tournament continues to play a pivotal role in developing grassroots squash and positioning Uttar Pradesh as a key hub for the sport in India.

On the final day, the Yadupati Singhania Khel Ratna Award (given by the association towards promoting and uplifting of the game of Squash in Uttar Pradesh) will be presented to:

For distinguished contribution towards the promotion of Squash.
The award was initiated and promoted by Dr. N. K. Pandey, Founder Secretary, UPSRA, in loving memory of the most beloved President Late Shri Yadupati Singhania, honouring his love and affection towards the game.
