Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect, how it is used, and the safeguards we employ to protect your privacy.

Last updated: 16 November 2025

Information We Collect

We collect information that you voluntarily provide (such as contact details, academy applications, media enquiries), information captured automatically through cookies or analytics tools (device data, pages visited, session duration), and limited information from trusted partners (ticketing or merchandising vendors) for fulfilment purposes.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data unless you submit it to us for a specific program or statutory requirement.

  • Identity and contact data: name, email address, phone number, city, organisation.
  • Engagement data: preferences, newsletter opt-ins, fan campaigns, survey responses.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referral URLs collected via first-party cookies.
  • Transactional data: records of merchandise purchases, ticketing confirmations, sponsorship enquiries.

How We Use Your Data

Personal data is processed to operate our websites, respond to queries, deliver newsletters, administer contests, improve fan experiences, and comply with legal obligations.

We rely on lawful bases recognised under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, including consent, performance of a contract, and legitimate business interests.

Data Sharing & International Transfers

We share data with service providers who assist with cloud hosting, analytics, payment processing, ticketing, or marketing automation. These partners are bound by confidentiality and data processing agreements.

Where data is transferred outside India, we ensure comparable protections through contractual safeguards, including standard contractual clauses or equivalent industry frameworks.

Retention & Security

Data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the stated purposes or comply with legal requirements (for example, tax and audit records retained for seven years).

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards such as access controls, encryption in transit, regular vulnerability assessments, and vendor due diligence. Despite best efforts, no digital transmission is fully secure, and users share information at their own risk.

Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, updating, or deletion of your personal data. You may also withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions or emailing us.

Where processing is based on consent, withdrawal will not affect processing carried out prior to the withdrawal. We will verify identity before fulfilling any request.

  • Right to access: obtain a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Right to correction: request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure: ask us to delete data when retention is no longer required by law.
  • Right to grievance redressal: contact our Data Protection Officer if you believe your request was not handled satisfactorily.
