Event Overview
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the Gwalior Cheetahs Player Development Program Trials 2026 ("Event" or "Trials") organized by JKC Sports Private Limited ("Organizer", "we", "us", or "our"). By registering for and participating in the Trials, you ("Participant", "you", or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
Eligibility Requirements
All participants must meet the following eligibility criteria as of the specified dates:
- Must be a male player between 19 to under 22 years of age as of 1 December 2025 (Date of birth: on or after 2 December 2003 and before 1 December 2006).
- Must NOT be registered with any Division or MPCA (Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association) as of 1 December 2025.
- Must belong to Madhya Pradesh by birth OR have permanent domicile of Madhya Pradesh.
- Must be in bonafide employment in Madhya Pradesh for at least 3 months as of 1 September 2025 (or parents, if player is under 21), OR enrolled in a regular educational course in Madhya Pradesh for at least 3 months as of 1 December 2025.
- Valid employment includes government, semi-government, corporate, autonomous bodies, or MSEs. Part-time jobs, trainee roles, small shops, or personal businesses are NOT considered valid.
- Distance or online learning courses are NOT allowed for educational eligibility.
Registration Process
Registration for the Trials is subject to payment of the registration fee. By completing registration, you represent and warrant that:
- All information provided during registration is accurate, complete, and truthful.
- You meet all eligibility criteria specified in these Terms.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
- You will provide all required documents for verification at the time of trials.
Registration Fee
A non-refundable registration fee is required to complete your registration. The fee amount will be displayed during the registration process. Payment must be made through the authorized payment gateway. The Organizer reserves the right to modify the registration fee at any time, but such changes will not affect registrations already completed.
Document Verification
All participants must bring original documents for verification on the day of trials, including but not limited to:
- Original Aadhaar Card or valid government-issued ID
- Date of Birth Certificate or School Leaving Certificate
- Domicile Certificate (if applicable)
- Employment Certificate or Educational Institution Certificate
- Any other documents as may be required by the Organizer
Initial verification will be conducted by the franchise. The MPL Governing Council reserves the right to re-verify all documents of selected players. If any participant is found to have submitted false or misleading information, they will be immediately disqualified.
Selection Process
Selection for the Player Development Program will be based on performance during the trials, subject to verification of eligibility and documents. The Organizer and the MPL Governing Council reserve the right to:
- Select or reject any participant at their sole discretion.
- Disqualify any participant found ineligible at any stage.
- Request replacement of disqualified players within one week.
- Modify the selection criteria or process at any time.
Code of Conduct
All participants must adhere to the following code of conduct:
- Maintain professional behavior and sportsmanship at all times.
- Respect fellow participants, officials, and venue staff.
- Follow all instructions from event organizers and officials.
- Comply with anti-doping regulations and fair play principles.
- Not engage in any form of misconduct, cheating, or unsportsmanlike behavior.
- Not use any prohibited substances or equipment.
Violation of the code of conduct may result in immediate disqualification and removal from the event premises.
Liability and Risk
Participation in the Trials involves inherent risks of physical injury. By participating, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You participate at your own risk and assume full responsibility for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur.
- The Organizer, its affiliates, partners, and officials shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation.
- You are physically fit and medically cleared to participate in cricket trials.
- You will carry adequate medical insurance coverage (recommended).
Media and Publicity Rights
By participating in the Trials, you grant the Organizer and its partners the irrevocable right to:
- Photograph, film, record, or otherwise capture your image, voice, and performance during the event.
- Use your name, likeness, image, and biographical information for promotional, marketing, and commercial purposes.
- Broadcast, publish, distribute, and display such content through any media channels worldwide.
- Use such content in perpetuity without additional compensation.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
The registration fee is non-refundable except in the following circumstances:
- If the Organizer cancels the entire event, a full refund will be processed.
- If a participant is unable to attend due to a medical emergency (with valid documentation), a partial refund may be considered at the Organizer's discretion.
- No refunds will be provided for no-shows, disqualifications, or voluntary withdrawals.
The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the event schedule, venue, or format at any time due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government regulations, or force majeure events.
Disqualification
Participants may be disqualified based on the criteria below, which are not exhaustive. The organisers reserve the right to disqualify participants on other valid grounds. Disqualified participants will not be entitled to any refund or compensation.
- They are found to have provided false or misleading information.
- They do not meet the eligibility criteria upon verification.
- They violate the code of conduct.
- They fail to produce required documents at the time of trials.
- The MPL Governing Council determines them to be ineligible.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the event, including but not limited to logos, branding, content, and materials, belong to the Organizer. Participants may not use, reproduce, or distribute any event-related intellectual property without prior written authorization.
Privacy and Data Protection
By registering, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of your personal data as per the Organizer's Privacy Policy. Your data may be shared with the MPL Governing Council, event partners, and authorized third parties for the purposes of conducting the event and verification processes.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Madhya Pradesh, India. Parties agree to first attempt an amicable resolution through the Organizer's grievance redressal mechanism.
Modifications to Terms
The Organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Participants will be notified of material changes. Continued participation after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
